In 2016 headlines read If you want to shoot, shoot me," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, as he called for stopping the attacks on Dalits.


Over half a decade forward and Modi and his party, critics allege, aims to make India a Hindu nation, where Dalits, Muslims and other minorities are treated as second-class citizens. So when did this divide start and is Modi love of power overcoming his love for the people?

Russia has been India's largest supplier of military equipment for decades and it is the fourth-biggest market for Indian pharmaceutical products.

With a population of over 40 million and an area of about 600,000 sq km, Ukraine is one of the largest countries in Europe. India has an extensive bilateral relationship with Ukraine, spanning all spheres of cooperation. India was one of the first countries to recognize Ukraine. Government of India recognized the Republic of Ukraine as a sovereign country in December 1991 and established diplomatic relations in January 1992. The Embassy of India in Kyiv was opened in May 1992. (India had a Consulate in Odessa, which functioned from 1962 till its closure in March 1999). Ukraine opened its Mission in Delhi in February 1993 – its first in Asia.


Over the period of war between Ukraine and Russia India has advanced significantly and benefited immensely in its space program achievements.


2023; Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau urged India to cooperate with an inquiry into a Sikh activist's murder. Trudeau said that Ottawa had credible allegations linking Indian government agents to the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in June, prompting an angry reaction from New Delhi. Nijjar, 45, was a Canadian citizen.
